The Grizzlies have signed free agent guard (and former All Star) Gilbert Arenas to a 1-year minimum deal. This means a lot to us Grizzlies fans, considering the team need a back up point guard in the worst of ways. No details yet of when Gilbert will see his first action, but I imagine it will be pretty soon. Arenas will wear the #10, and will most likely see most of the minutes at point guard off the bench, although he could be serviceable at shooting guard.
The Grizzlies will start a 4 game road trip against the Sacramento Kings tonight at 9:00pm.
This is when every game takes on a bit more importance, because this regular season is drawing ever nearer to a close.
