Grizzlies Drop Close One 100-99 at San Antonio

Losing Streak Now at 14 Games

March 06, 2018 - 8:23 am

Down 4 with no time left on the clock, Marc Gasol heaved a 3 pointer toward the basket and tried to draw a foul. He banked in the 3, but no foul was called, and the Grizzlies fell at San Antonio 100-99 for their 14th loss in a row. It was a good effort from the Grizz, who led at many points throughout the game, but the Spurs turned it on late led by a vintage performance from Tony Parker. Marc Gasol led the Grizz with 23pts 10rebs.

The Grizzlies now sit at 18-45 on the season and are in sole possession of last place in the NBA standings. They play at Chicago tomorrow night, who sits at 21-42 on the season. Coverage begins at 6:30pm on 92.9FM & 680AM.
