Grizzlies Lose 7th Straight Headed Into All-Star Break

Fall to OKC Thunder 121-114

February 14, 2018 - 10:17 pm

Carmelo Anthony knocked down a clutch 3 pointer with 25 seconds left to make it a two possession game at 118-114, & ultimately sealed the victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-114 on Wednesday at FedExForum. The Thunder were led by their big 3 Westbrook, George & Anthony, while the Grizz got a new career high out of Andrew Harrison who led the team with 28pts. Chandler Parsons returned to action for the first time after missing the last 20 games. He had 5pts off the bench.

The big story headed into the Valentine's Day evening wasn't so much the game itself, but rather the long anticipated wedding of Grizz and Halle Beary at halftime. It did not go as planned:

We'll have to wait until after the All-Star Break for the Grizz/Halle/Natch Love Triangle conclusion. The Grizzlies will take on Lebron James and the new look Cleveland Cavaliers at FedExForum Feb. 23rd. Coverage begins at 6pm on 92.9FM & 680AM.
