Tigers Lose 3rd Straight, Fall to UCF at Home 68-64

First Ever Home Loss to UCF

February 11, 2018 - 6:03 pm

The Memphis Tigers Basketball Team hit a low point in the season on Sunday afternoon at FedExForum, losing their 3rd straight game 68-64 to UCF. The Knights had never won at Memphis prior to yesterday. It's the 5th loss in 6 games for the Tigers, and the schedule doesn't get any easier with 3 of the next 4 games on the road. There was a scary moment when Team Captain and leading scorer Jeremiah Martin went down with a little over 6 minutes left with an apparent hip injury, but he did return to finish the game.

The Tigers now sit at 14-11 on the season and 5-7 in the AAC. They ply at SMU on Wednesday night at 8pm.
